Changes in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central on-premises licenses pricing

To all our customers and users of Microsoft Dynamics - please be informed that Microsoft is planning on increasing the prices for Dynamics on-premises licenses. The price changes will be effective from October 1, 2025.

Note that the details may be updated before the effective date, so it's advisable to check the information again as October approaches.

  1. Changes to Service plans - Microsoft Dynamics Enhancement Plan (BREP):

From October 1, 2025, the yearly Enhancement Plans (Microsoft’s BREP) will increase from 19% to 20% .

The final pricing will be shared at least 90 days before the changes.

  1. Change to Dynamics On-Premises Base Prices

These changes affect Business Central, NAV and GP (both perpetual and subscription licenses)

  • For Perpetual Licenses (Business Central, NAV, GP):
Increase by +10% for key SKUs (excluding adjustments from regional conversion factor updates)

  • For Subscription Licenses (Business Central, NAV, GP):
Increase from +10 % to 14% for key SKUs

  • Elimination of “on Azure” Discount:
The current 5% promotional discount for subscriptions hosted on Azure will be removed.

Microsoft is encouraging customers to move to the cloud and experience the benefits of the secure cloud environment. With perpetual license purchases ending on April 1, 2025, Business Central in the cloud is quickly becoming the preferred choice for organizations looking for flexibility, efficiency, and long-term value.

As on-premises licensing grows more expensive, the SaaS model stands out as the modern, cost-effective way to run your business.
